We Have Awesome News To Share
Oakley is going to the Ohio American Bully Show. We didn’t intend on showing any of our dogs because we didn’t think the scheduling would ever work out, but an opportunity has presented itself! Our schedule may just work out to allow us to get one of our main dogs to a show. We are going to take Oakley. This will be Bullies of Greatness first show to attend. It will be an awesome way to see how Oakley does and to check out other American Bully dogs like himself. With his dad (Loki) already being an ABKC XL champion, we hope some of the genetics his father passed along will help lead him down the path of stardom.
What To Expect At The American Bully Show
So, we don’t have any expectations for placement as we have never participated in a show or been to one. We are so excited about going to the Ohio American Bully Show because this will give us a chance to meet other great owners and introduce our boy Oakley. It has been something we have continued to think about doing, but just didn’t have the time available. Once we saw that there was a show not to far from us, we decided to make the trip.
We Took Home A Ribbon
It was fun attending the show and experiencing everything for the first time. I took my oldest daughter to the show with me and she was able to be a junior handler for the first time. She received a ribbon and so did Oakley. Oakley placed third in the Xl class at the Ohio American Bully Show. We were happy with that because it was the first time for everyone attending. It is defiantly something we will want to do again in the future.
